Living Beyond Ourselves: Called to Mission Ministry

Sis. Kim Puckett, President | Sis. Olintha Smith, Vice-President

We are called to a life of service--service to God and service to humanity. We must show the love of God to those who are less fortunate than we are, those who are spiritually, economically and even physically handicapped. God has not called us to live unto ourselves, but to reach out and bless others as He has blessed us.

Following this mandate from God, the Women's Fellowship of St. Stephen seeks to be, and has been, a blessing to women in our congregation who have had a particular need. We not only provide monetary gifts, but encouragement and helpful information. We visit the sick and shut-in, distribute Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets, and give out school supplies at our Church picnic. As a group, we have made contribution to the Church's building fund and have been involved in global ministry, by sending donations to churches in Guyana, South America and AME-India.

It is our hope that you will join with us as we continue to be of service as the Lord commanded us. Annually, we collect pennies in the amount of the current year. We ask that each woman in our congregation would commit to supporting this ministry by making a donation by the end of the year.

Women's Fellowship meets every 2nd Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in the lower level of our church. You are welcome to join us any second Saturday.

Inasmuch as you have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, you have done it unto me.

Matthew 25:40

And whatever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men, knowing that of the Lord you shall receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.

- Colossians 3:23
